About Chief Resident
Less scheduling. More teaching.
Chief Resident is a medical lecture scheduling application for lecturers and conference organizers. Lecturers choose an available date and topic. Organizers manage the schedule and topic list in one protected workspace.
What does Chief Resident do?
Chief Resident brings the date, specialty and lecture topic into one booking. The public link opens the calendar directly. There is no lecturer account to create, no time picker and no extra questionnaire before booking.
A lecturer chooses an available day, enters a name and email address, selects a specialty and one available topic, then confirms. The result screen appears after the booking is saved. The reserved day and catalogue topic are no longer available to another lecturer.
Who is it for?
The lecturer view is designed for someone opening a conference link on a phone. Search works from the first character, and long topic titles remain readable. The organizer view supports the chief resident or coordinator responsible for that conference schedule.
Chief Resident is the application name. A conference, teaching programme or existing calendar meeting can keep its own name. The application does not rename an existing meeting series or change a programme’s academic dates.
One place for everyday organization
Organizers can manage dates, topics, notes and recorded lecture outcomes in the protected application. Current and upcoming dates appear first, while past dates remain accessible. A separate spreadsheet is not required for these supported daily actions.
Calendar invitations and email delivery are separate from saving a booking. Their availability depends on the organizer’s configuration and connection status. A saved booking is not a promise that an invitation has reached an inbox.
