You decide what is available. Your lecturers choose what works for them.
01
Set the choices.
Add your specialties and topics. Choose your booking period and open the dates you want to offer. Everything starts closed until you are ready.
02
Share your lecturer link.
Send your own public booking page through the channel you already use. Lecturers choose a date and topic from their phones, without an account.
03
Keep the whole picture.
See saved bookings in your workspace. Add notes, record lecture outcomes and look back at past dates without losing the context.
The daily work. Without the scattered details.
Built around the people arranging the lecture and the person giving it.
A topic list people can actually use.
Search specialties and topics from the first character. Long titles stay readable, and lecturers only see available topics in their chosen specialty.
Availability you can rely on.
A confirmed booking reserves its date and catalogue topic together. Repeated clicks do not create duplicate bookings, and an interrupted connection can be checked.
Your workspace. Your conference.
Keep bookings, organizer notes and history behind your personal sign-in. Share the booking page, not your private records.
A schedule that keeps its context.
Open or block dates deliberately. Keep used and hidden topics visible to organizers, and past dates accessible when you need them.

A few things worth knowing.
Clear answers before you start.
What is Chief Resident?
Chief Resident is a web app for organizing medical lectures. Chief residents and conference coordinators manage their dates, specialties and topics in a private workspace. Lecturers use a public booking link to choose an available date and topic.
What happens when I create an account?
Confirm your email to create your own empty conference workspace and shareable lecturer link. Add your specialties and topics, set your conference details and open the dates you want people to book. New workspaces do not contain another organizer’s schedule or records.
Do lecturers need to register?
No. A lecturer opens your link, chooses a date, then enters their name and email and selects a specialty and topic. Two input screens, followed by the saved booking.
Can two lecturers book the same date or topic?
A booking reserves its date and catalogue topic together. Once saved, neither can be booked again in the same active topic list. Availability is checked by the server, including when people book at the same time.
Can I manage the schedule from my phone?
Yes. The calendar, specialty and topic search, and organizer controls are designed for a small screen. You can manage dates, topics, notes and lecture outcomes in the app without maintaining a second spreadsheet for those actions.
Are invitations and reminders included?
A saved booking is not an email or calendar invitation. These services need separate configuration and permissions and are not automatically connected to new workspaces. Keep your existing invitation process until a connection is configured and verified.
Is Free a trial, and can I buy Pro?
Free is the currently available plan, not a timed trial. No credit card is collected. Pro is temporarily unavailable: there is no checkout, and no payment can be made. Pro features and pricing have not been announced.
What can people see on my public link?
Your public booking page shows availability and the topics you make available. It does not list lecturers’ names, email addresses, organizer notes or private history. Do not put patient information in booking fields.
